The Georgetown University in Qatar Foundation hosted a three-day Model United Nations Conference on September 28, 29, and 30, 2023, where a select group of senior students from M.E.S Indian School Abu Hamour Br participated successfully. For his work in the security council, Trivikram Sunil received the Outstanding Diplomacy Award from the organising committee.
In MUN’s various committees, the following student delegates participated in contentious debates on current global issues: Trivikram Sunil (Security Council), Mohammed Basim (SOCHUM), Krishna Prasath (ECOSOC), Aditya Vivek (UNESCO), John Sajeev (Peace Building Commission), Arman Mohammed Ali (DISEC), Jeshurun Anil (General Assembly), Ian Alexander (General Assembly), Savitr (Human Rights Commission), Ashwath Germany, Ecuador, Gabon, and other nations were represented by MESIS students.
MESIS students came from a variety of nations, including Gabon, Ecuador, Germany, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, China, France, The Philippines, Egypt, India, Australia, and The United Kingdom.
The principal, Mrs. Pramila Kannan and the vice principal, Mrs. Annie Francis, organized an exclusive celebration to recognize MUN Student Delegates. Teachers from the school, Mr. Prabhatan and Mr. Mohammed Salah accompanied the squad.
