MES Indian School, Abu Hamour branch in its zenith of excellence witnessed an extraordinary feat by a child prodigy, Ms Jahnvi S Thalmi as she won the India Book of Record title 2022 for being – the fastest to recite computer shortcuts blindfolded by a kid. She had recited 104 shortcut commands of a computer keyboard blindfolded in 3 minutes, 30 seconds and 42 milliseconds.
Jahnvi S Thalmi, a student of grade 2-D was felicitated by the school recently. The little genius was felicitated a trophy by MES Principal, Mrs Hameeda Khader, Principal MESIS, Dr. Mohammed Haneef and Off-Campus Coordinator- Mr. Manmadhan in the school multipurpose hall of MESIS. Miss Zayba Niyas and Ms Andrea Mary Sabu welcomed the audience and Spectators stood in awe and wonder when she demonstrated her skill.
In his speech at the event, Principal Dr. Haneef mentioned that Ms Jahnvi is a model for others to emulate and she has proven that anything is possible with constant determination and hard work. According to him, the parents’ role in such exclusive achievements is also worth mentioning. MES Principal Mrs. Hameeda Kadar inspired the audience by posing Jahnvi and her parents as an epitome of success through constant practice.
As a motivation, class teacher of Jahnvi, Ms. Noorjahan K felicitated her with a special gift. Along with the prominent dignitaries, parents of Janvi, all class monitors, students’ council members and other senior teachers of MESIS were part of the event. Mr. Pankaj Raj Kumar, Ms. Riya Antony, the faculties at MESIS, coordinated the programme.
