Activity day for Grade 2 was held on 18th October & 19 October 2023 between 8:00 am -1:00 am at MESIS Multipurpose Hall. Mr Faisal Mayan (Director of Transport, MES Governing board) inaugurated the event. Mr. Shahid (MES Governing Board Member) Mrs. Pramila Kannan (Principal, MESIS), Dr. Hameeda Kadar (Principal, MES Indian School) Mr Manmadhan Mampally (Administrator Off-Campus, MES Indian School), and Mrs Annie Francis (Vice Principal) were also present for the event. A very formal function paved the way for the commencement of the activity day. The event started with prayer by Mersiha of Grade 2, welcome note by Daya of Grade 1 and Dhiva of Grade 2 anchored the event. Mrs. Pramila Kannan addressed the gathering, highlighting the objectives of the activity day followed by a vote of thanks by Gunasree of grade 2. The parents and students were then directed to explore the different subject corners in the hall. The hall had different corners for subjects like English, Math, EVS, Qatar History, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, French, Islamic Studies and Arabic. Students explored activities in different subjects with the guidance of the teacher in the presence of their parent. Parents were happy to see the activity-based learning of their children and the activities planned in different corners focused on different domains of development like language development, cognitive development, fine and gross motor development, creative development and socio emotional development. It helps the parents to get a glimpse of different concepts so far taught in the class.
