Hilarity, Joviality, Merriment, Festivity, Cheer, Fun and Laughter marked the Annual Day celebration ‘TARANG 2022’ of MES Indian School Abu Hamour Branch recently.
The celebrations began with the prayer by Master Syed Ahmed Khaderi (Grade 11) followed by magniloquent welcome speech by the Head Boy Master Akshith Saravanan. The vibes of festivity engulfed the ambiance as the Chief Guest Smt. T. Angeline Premalatha (Counsellor- Political & Commerce, Embassy of India) and Guest of honor
Dr. Ravinder Mamtani (Vice Dean, Weill Cornell Medical College), Guest of honor- Lt. Abdul Rahman Khalid Al Muzaffar (Administrative officer & Secretary to the Director, Community Policing Department, Ministry of Interior), ascended on the stage chaperoned by Mr. K Abdul Karim (President, MESIS), Dr. Najeeb K.P (Senior Vice President, MESIS), Mr. A.P Khalil (Vice President, MESIS), Mr. Hazmal Ismail (General Secretary, MESIS), Mr M.C. Mohammed (Director of Cultural and Co-curricular activities, MESIS) , Mr. Hashim N.M (Secretary, MESIS) and Ms. Pramila Kannan (Vice Principal, MESIS).
Human psyche could not help itself before it was enticed by the words of wisdom in felicitation speech by Mr. Hazmal Ismail (General Secretary, MESIS Governing Board). Inspiring speech by the Chief Guest Smt. T. Angelina Premalatha, Counsellor (Political & Commerce), Embassy of India, stressed on the importance of education and cultural program in school as it helps the children to develop multiple skills to be successful in life. Dr. Ravinder Mamtani spoke on the importance of schooling as it helps communication and sociability, he also spoke about cultural celebration and role of teacher in improving the personality of students.
Prize distribution ceremony witnessed the mixed emotions of pride, adoration, joy and wonder. The annual report presented by the Vice Principal, enthralled the parents and fostered the feeling of bliss. Welcome song and welcome dance in quick succession were captivating.
Vote of thanks by Head Girl acknowledged the efforts of every individual before cultural extravaganza could take the audience in its stride.
Cultural perpetuation started with skit based compering wherein a Qatari family visits India and articulate their experience of various cultures.
The theme “ Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav” was well blended right from the reception till the last dance. Parents were overwhelmed by the performance of children on the stage.
