HEART DAY CELEBRATION

MESIS Celebrates World Heart Day with Enthusiasm and Awareness

On September29th, MESIS proudly celebrated World Heart Day with a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at promoting awareness about heart health and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

The celebration began with a special assembly broadcast on MESIS FM Radio, where students and teachers participated in the Heart Day Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to heart health. Informative talks by students emphasized key aspects of maintaining a healthy heart — including regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, stress management, and avoiding harmful habits.
Colorful visual presentations and creative posters prepared by students added vibrancy to the program, spreading the message of heart care through artistic expression.

A special program was also organized in the MP Hall, beginning with an inspiring opening address by the Principal, Ms. Pramila Kannan. In her speech, she highlighted the global significance of World Heart Day and encouraged everyone to take personal responsibility for maintaining good heart health through mindful nutrition, regular exercise, and stress control.

The school was honored to welcome Mrs. Annamma John, Nurse from the Health Promotion Department, as the Chief Guest. She educated students on topics such as cardiovascular diseases, heart-healthy diets, and the importance of physical fitness. Her session offered practical insights and motivated students to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives.
